Commercial Unlawful Detainer Litigation

A large dental group refused to pay about $1,000,000 in rent and damages based upon its contention that there were accounting and other issues that meant that they did now owe any rent. We are proud that this case was entrusted to us by one of the largest landlords of medical buildings in the United States. After a complex series of procedural maneuvers and legal arguments, the court ruled in favor of our client. The ruling was primarily based upon a novel legal argument that, to our knowledge, had not been used before. This win placed our client in an excellent position to settle the case with newly won leverage.
